Monday is ride to work day10. Cars suck.

9. Putting on riding gear is faster than walking to your car, which you left in Lot 8, Row 49, Space 617.

8. Hardly anybody cares where motorcycles and scooters park

7. You'll save a bunch of money on gas, parking, and metro fares.

6. Rare excuse to wear leather chaps to the office.

5. Reduces traffic congestion.

4. You'll arrive alert and energized.

3. It may be the only time a Hells Angel will wave to you during your morning commute.

2. It's two things to look forward to in one day (riding there... riding back).

And the number one reason to ride to work Monday...

You know you want to.

This Monday, June 15th, is Ride to Work Day.  And it's a really good day to show John Q. Public that motorcycling isn't all loud pipes and wheelies, it has a social benefit, too.

So pull out your bike and store your excuses in the garage.  Who knows?  You might realize Ride to Work Day can be observed 260 times each year.

For more info: RidetoWork.org has an entire web site dedicated to this excellent idea, complete with promo materials and pre-tailored justifications.
