
Warming river water temperatures has moved another wave of trout and salmon into Indiana waters of the St. Joe River, according to today’s St. Joe River fishing report.
3,210 salmonids have moved past the South Bend Fish Ladder, according to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The ladder is passing an average of 25 fish per day.

Good steelhead fishing has been reported below the Twin Forks and Mishawaka dams. Check deep pools below salmon spawning areas; use salmon spawn.
Coho and Chinook are at the end of their spawn. You may find late spawning Chinook on gravel flats.
