Walking job opening: Portland pedestrian advocate position
Do you have a passion for pedestrian accessibility and livable communities? The Willamette Pedestrian Coalition (WPC) Board of Directors is looking for a part-time director to manage the day to day affairs of the pedestrian advocacy organization. It's a part-time position that pay $18 per hour and is located in their office near downtown Portland.
I have worked with the Willamette Pedestrian Coalition (WPC) on several projects and events since it was formed in 1991. The members and board are passionate about Portland's accessibility and walkability. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community based membership organization in the greater Portland metro area.
The director will manage the office, supervise an intern, perform outreach and awareness clinics, manage grants and projects, and must have excellent written and spoken communication skills.
