Hawks keep Pachulia.

Breaking up is hard to do for the Atlanta Hawks.

One day after reaching an agreement to bring back free agent point guard Mike Bibby, the rising franchise also persuaded Zaza Pachulia to stick around.

No surprise. He's a born Georgia boy -- well, from the former Soviet republic known as Georgia. But the Hawks enforcer must have cottoned to his newer Georgia.

Z made $16 mil during his previous four years in the A-T-L. When details of this deal dribble out, it will confirm a hefty raise.

He's not an especially skilled big man, but who is these days? More importantly, keeping Pach-man further suggests the Hawks are a welcome destination for NBA players, which wasn't always so.

You're next, Marvin Williams.
