Brockton Rox Pro Showcasea logo

If you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a professional baseball player and either went undrafted or were overlooked by major league scouts, then do the Brockton Rox have an opportunity for you!

The independent Can-Am League team is hosting the Brockton Rox Pro Showcase to provide unsigned players – former pros as well as amateurs – the chance to be evaluated while playing in multiple-inning games and taking part in drills. According to the club, several managers and former MLB players will be on hand to offer advice and instruction, and since it is not a referral service, contracts will be offered during the showcase.

The event will be held May 1-2, 2010 at Campanelli Stadium in Brockton. The cost to participate is $199 per player, and registration must be completed in advance either by calling the Rox office at (508) 559-7000 to pay by credit card or PayPal, or mailing a check to the ballpark at 1 Feinberg Way, Brockton, MA 02301.

For more information, see the Rox website or call the number listed above. Good luck!
