Find out more about Steve: Steve Weissman is a multi-faceted observer of the Boston-area baseball scene, having contributed for years to The Sports Exchange on WATD radio in Marshfield, written the acclaimed book Beach Chairs and Baseball Bats: A Celebration of the Cape Cod Baseball League, and advised professional and Cape League teams about fan research and marketing strategy. He's also a Cal Ripken-certified youth baseball coach, and sees the game anew every spring. Steve and his family divide their time between suburban Waltham and the mid-Cape town of South Yarmouth.
