All you need is yoga and The Beatles. As I've told you about this class before, if you are a fan of The Beatles and yoga, this is a class you must attend. Fusing the music of the fab four with the flow of yoga is a natural concoction that can bring your practice to another level.
Jaya Yoga Center in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn provides the space for this class, and will be the debut of the class in this neighborhood.
The flow class is suitable for all levels, but some yoga experience makes it that much more enjoyable. Verbal instruction is kept to a minimum to allow the mind to tune into the music and how the rhythms of our breath and movement can be in sync with the Liverpool lads. We'll explore traditional asanas (postures), pranayama techniques (breathing exercises) and yoga nidra (deep relaxation). The songs that we all know and love allow for a physical, mental and even emotional journey.
John Lennon said it best, "All we are saying is give peace a chance." So join us for an evening where the yoga community can come together through two things that most of us love.
