Eight haunted mazes, three scare zones, a Halloween show plus some of your favorite rides and attractions have transformed Carowinds Amusement Park from a friendly theme park to an unforgettable scare adventure. It’s Scarowinds Halloween Haunt, a PG-13 rated event occurring weekends only until October 31, 2009. Scarowinds is not recommended for ages under 13 or for anyone who don’t like being scared.

Hours for this sinister Halloween event are Friday-Sunday 7 p.m. until 12 a.m. Hours extend to 1 a.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2009 and Saturday, October 31, 2009 only. General Admission is $42.00 at the gate and $33.99 via online purchase. Online discounts, group rates and VIP Fear Feast with entrance rates are available through this tickets link.  Parking is $10 per car. 2009 season pass holders receive free admission and free parking.

Carowinds is located at North Carolina/South Carolina border at 14523 Carowinds Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28273. Directions to Carowinds: Take I-77 to SC exit #90. The park is approximately 15 minutes south of Uptown Charlotte.
