Find out more about Karen: As the founder and executive director of Designate Your Future, a non-profit association whose mission is centered around inspiring, motivating and preparing individuals transitioning into fashion schools and careers, Karen has spent the past 11 years in the fashion, retail and recruiting industries. Passionate about higher learning and providing a forum where people like her can grow and be challenged, she has taught both business and fashion merchandising courses for Bauder College, Clark Atlanta University and The Art Institute of Atlanta. She has also worked as an admissions advisor for AIU where she received a master of business administration in marketing. In her spare time, Karen commits herself to a number of projects including working as a costumer on local films and serving as a member of the International Alliance for Theatrical Stage Employees. |
