I love lipgloss. At any given time I have at least four or five tubes in my handbag and another two or three tubes at my desk.  There was even a point in time when I had to have my co-worker keep a tube of lipgloss on her desk too just in case my stash went missing. You might call me a little obsessed but I like to think of it as just planning ahead.

My recent obsession when it comes to shiny glosses to smother all over my lips is the Limited Edition Sephora Get Pink'd Sampler that my saavy friend Sarah gave me as a bridal gift.  I know it seems random that someone would get me that for a bridal gift but I guess that’s just a testament to how obsessed I am with lipgloss.

The sampler is a collection of best-selling lipsticks and glosses from Stila, Smashbox, Calvin Klein, Urban Decay and Korres, and also includes a lip exfoliator from Laura Geller and a lip primer from DuWop. It’s everything you need to create a pretty pout and the entire set is only $37. That’s a pretty fabulous deal for 2 lipsticks, 2 lip primers, 4 lip glosses and a lip stain from Stila that also doubles as a gel blush.

My favorite lipstick from the set is Calvin Klein “Mesmerized”. The lipstick shade is a vibrant fuscia that lasts all day long. Seriously. I put it on this morning at 7:30am and eight hours later the color is still going strong! I layered this matte lipstick with a little Sephora Shimmer Gloss (also included in the set) and my lips are a pretty pink that is perfect for the summer sunshine!

I also love the Stila Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain. This product is dual purpose and it totally gives my usual cheek stain, Origins Pinch Your Cheeks, a run for it’s money! The Stila lip and cheek stain has antioxidant protection, plus Vitamin A, C & E, and reacts to the pH levels in lips/cheeks to create a personalized color. The pigment lasts all day and the color makes your lips look like you just ate a cherry popsicle. It’s a really pretty pink and if you want beautiful color that lasts all day, you need this product!

The Smashbox O-gloss is also another one of my favorites from this set. This is the sister product to the Smashbox O-Glow which is an intuitive check color that reacts to your personal skin chemistry to create a personalized color for you based on the color you are when you blush naturally. The O-Gloss on the other hand, is specifically designed for your lips! It starts out as silky, clear gloss and then transforms into a pretty pink once applied to your lips. This lipgloss is so fabulous it even won a “Best of Sephora” award last year! Random tidbit about Smashbox courtesy of Sephora.com: In 1991, Dean and Davis Factor, entrepreneurial brothers and great grandsons of makeup icon Max Factor, opened Smashbox Photo Studios in Los Angeles.

Other items in the set include:

• Calvin Klein’s sheer plumping lipgloss in “Bloom”

• Sephora’s pink sparkly lipgloss in “Think Pink”

• Korres High Shine Lipgloss in “Cherry”

• Urban Decay’s Lipstick in “Jilted”

• DuWop Lip Venom Primer (designed to help lipstick go on smooth and last longer)

• Laura Geller Lip Strip (designed to exfoliate lips)

If you’re been thinking about trying a new lipstick or lipgloss, get this set! It’s a great way to experiment with new brands and colors without the commitment. These trial sized products are great for travel and small enough to fit into a mini clutch on a night out.
