It’s finally summertime in the city and there’s lots going on! Pencil in these fashionable parties and shopping events into your datebook ASAP.
Thursday June 18th
Fashion Kills Hunger Fashion show sponsored by The Industry at The Chapel on Capitol Hill. Featured designers and boutiques in the show include Horseshoe, Original Penguin and Lizzie Parker. Tickets start at $25. For more info, click here.
Saturday June 20th
Come to the 4th Annual Out of the Closet Fashion Show produced by Art Institute alumni Eric Davis at the W Hotel. Host Sylvia O’Stayformore will be working the crowd while DJ Colby B spins some sweet tunes. Proceeds support DIFFA (Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS) and Seattle Out and Proud. VIP Tickets includes two drink tickets, hors' dourves and exclusive viewing of the designer fashions. This is a 21+ ONLY event. For more info, click here.

August 21st
After a successful first annual show, Seattle’s Product Runway is back for part two. Created by the Interior Design Coalition of Washington (IDCW), Product Runway is designed to celebrate the distinct talent of Seattle’s Interior Design community, composed of industry professionals and students. Teams will construct couture garments crafted from interior design materials using everything from carpeting to light fixtures. Pencil this fun (and fashionable) event into your calendar ASAP. Event proceeds benefit IDCW’s education and professional development programs. Tickets range from $30 for students to $100 for VIP. For more info, click here.
