Where it all started?

Strolling the Las Vegas Strip is a world class experience in everything advertising.  A glittering electric street of dreams.  But really, how about taking a walk on the wild side?  Located in the exact spot of the springs that made life in Las Vegas possible, the Las Vegas Springs Preserve offers free trails and gardens to explore and a different take on the Las Vegas lifestyle.

Think green. 1.8 miles through 4 uniquely themed trails of picturesque landscapes leading to a cienega which serves as a home for hundreds of native plant, bird, and animal species.

The eight acre botanical gardens are a must see and feature interpretive and interactive displays demonstrating green living and sustainablility in our desert lanscape.

The trails and garden are free to the public. The trails close at 6:00 p.m. or dusk, whichever comes first.  No pets are allowed in the park.  Located at 333 S. Valley View Blvd., between Alta Dr. and U.S. 95.
