We all go through the battles of trying to stay active in life, trying to keep our youthful shape, and trying to stay young in both body and mind.  We sign up at gyms, only to stop going once the boredom of the treadmill sets in.  Many of us try this diet and that diet, only to get frustrated that we cannot simply eat what we want and be happy with the weight gain.  We try this creme and that lotion, this spa and that surgery to stay young-looking, but on the inside we feel age creeping upon us no matter how we look on the outside.

What if you could do something active that was fun and stayed interesting enough to you to warrant continual participation for years ahead, something that burned calories while you were laughing and playing, and something that kept your muscles flexible and your body young and your mind from degenerative diseases...without destroying joints and tendons like hard sports do?  What if you could find something to do with your life that, on top of all of this, would increase your confidence, help you to meet new friends, and give you something to do on the weekends that did not include sitting on the couch watching Dancing With the Stars?

Instead of watching ballroom dancing on television, do it for real!  Scientific study after scientific study has been performed on this amazing social activity that suggests, proves, or demonstrates that engaging in ballroom dancing a few times per week helps people to lose weight, tone muscles, improve posture and coordination, have more fun, lower your risk for dimentia and possibly avoid Alzheimer's, smile more, and basically get more out of life.

Ballroom lessons can cost anywhere from several hundred dollars per month to a nice tidy $60 - $90 per month for groups classes.  Ballroom dances occur virtually every weekend all over the city, so the opportunities are definitely there for meeting people and having more fun out of life.  To find a ballroom professional near you, take a look at the OrlandoBallroom.com website, and Let's Dance!
