Pregnant? Just give birth? Looking for a birth doula, postpartum doula, lactation specialist or childbirth educator? Then you may want to attend the last Meet the Doula Tea of 2009 with local doula organization Labor of Love on Monday, November 16 at 7:30p.m. EST.

The tea allows new or expectant parents to meet the members of Labor of Love. They do require an R.S.V.P. so be sure to click above for more information. The meeting is held at Northminster Presbyterian Church on Old Alabama Rd in Roswell. Directions are at the website.

The meeting is free, open to the public and typically lasts about an hour. According to their website, "babes in arm are welcome" but they ask that older children not be brought to the meeting. No obligation is expected by attending the meeting. Attendance allows parents to mingle with the Labor of Love women, get to know them and become familiar with the services available from the organization. The next tea will not be until January so if you are thinking of getting a doula you may want to hurry on over to this get together!
