2009-2010 Holiday season wardrobe ideas and trends
The days are getting shorter and the air is getting brisker each and every passing day. This may be sad for the sun lovers out there, but for many fashionistas, the early sunsets means only one exciting thing...the Holiday's are vastly approaching! What does this mean? It means a huge reason to hit your favorite stores and save big with the recession set prices out there. You can not turn on the television or flip through a newspaper without reading about Holiday sales and never before seen low prices. Obviously, the prices are amazing out in stores, but what should we actually be buying for all of our Holiday parties coming up? No idea?, well no worries. I have that all mapped out with some great ideas for any party you may have. Glance at the slide-show attached and get inspired.
-
Look 1: The Holiday night-time cocktail dress- This is your time to shine (literally). For the perfect Holiday party dress think, sexy and glittery. All you need to accessorize is the perfect strappy heel.
-
Look 2: The Holiday dinner outfit- Think Coco Chanel casual chic. Girly on top with masculine touches on the bottom half. Find a perfect flirty sheer top and cover it up with a men's inspired tweed jacket. Complete the look with baggy pants (which will leave extra room for your favorite Holiday pie!)
-
Look3: The office party dress- A glammed-up version of what you'd normally wear to the office. After hours, add a little glitz to your jewel-toned floral sheath with a chic belt and nude or metallic pumps, but stash your daytime cardigan under your desk and opt for a graphic winter coat as a topper.
-
Look4: The perfect Thanksgiving brunch outfit- Cozy knits will show your guy's parents that you're the perfect girl next door, but there's no reason it has to look frumpy. Take a cue from the runway by pairing a vibrant cowl neck with an updated tweed blazer and skirt.
Happy Holiday's to all my fashionistas out there!
