With an M.A. in English literature from University of Maryland and a full-time job in medical publishing, Julie is a veteran of 10 marathons and countless 1/2 marathons and 5Ks. She recently qualified for the Boston marathon. When not racing competitively, she loves running with her 2-year-old German Shepherd, Sophie. She and her husband have two boys, ages 13 and 11.
