Cesar passes on dog training advice regarding First Dog Bo
President Obama is already receiving advice about how to handle First Dog, Bo. TV dog trainer Cesar Millan of the popular "Dog Whisperer" show has advised the Commander in Chief to demonstrate his leadership of the pack (that would be the First Family) from day one.
"Always walk out the door ahead of your dog when leaving the house," said Millan, when prompted by reporters for Bo training tips. "Keep your dog to your side or behind you."
Portuguese water dogs are described smart, vital, energetic, fun and curious. They are working dogs full of energy, and they need to be walked a lot. Millan recommends that Bo receive 30- to 45-minute power walk every morning. He didn’t suggest who should be the walker.
