On January 24th, Hill's Science Diet pet food is sponsoring a free adoption event. The company plans to cover the expenses of the first ten adoptions made at participating shelters. Standard adoption fees can run anywhere from $100-$250, depending upon the shelter, so this is quite a bargain for those willing to brave the cold of an early January morning.
