Trips to Fisher Cave located at Sullivan, Missouri, offers an adventure for the whole family. Many people fear caves simply because they watch horror movies which depict caves as dark dangerous places to be. Fisher Cave offers visitors the real adventure of hiking through one of the most beautiful caves in the Merrimec State Park area.

The tour is guided by Missouri Department of Natural Resources employees. Each is very knowledgeable about the history of the cave, how the cave came into existance and the life forms inhabiting the cave.

This is the perfect time of year to take a weekend jaunt and tour the cave and then walk the trails to observe the changing of the leaves. Tours are held at 1 pm and 3 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The tours will be ending for the season this month so plan on taking the final tours soon.

If the tours aren't available wander the trails for fun time outdoors. Observe the wildlife such as deer, beavers and squirrels as they get ready for the winter ahead.
