Not Manny Ramirez

Filmmaker Neil Marshall has been linked with the directing job for the Predator reboot.

According to my pals at Bloody Disgusting, 20th Century Fox is currently holding talks with Marshall (The Descent) to direct the franchise reboot, simply entitled, Predators.
Sin City's Robert Rodriguez has written the script for the new film and will produce through his Texas-based Troublemaker Studios.

The 1987 Predator starred Arnold Schwarzenegger as Dutch, the leader of a team of commandos and future governors who find themselves targets of alien hunters in the middle of the hot and sticky jungle. The action favorite produced a sequel in 1990 and two spin-off Alien Vs. Predator movies.

Fox has not signed Neil but given the tight time frame an announcement will most likely be made soon.

Rodriguez has been a busy guy lately. In addition to Predators, he will also begin work on the spin-off of his Grindhouse trailer, Machete.
