Find out more about Donna: Donna is a native Washingtonian who grew up in a large family. She attributes her knack for storytelling and fun loving spirit to her Jamaican roots. She has a B.S. from Xavier University of LA and a M.P.H. from The George Washington University. Although she fell in love with writing at an early age, she credits her college years for the development of her writing skills, including her poetry. She currently works with several sectors of the community to develop systems that help enhance the quality of life for DC residents. She takes pride in meeting new people and sharing her experiences.
