Hour 1:00-3:00  OR  Hour 6-8

After passing through the entrance, head immediately left toward the Baja Ridge territory and stand in line for X2.

This line is never shorter than 2 hours long, so you can either get it out of the way at first and have the rest of the time to explore the park, or you can hit all the other rides first and save X2 for nightfall.  Either way, X2 is the best ride ever.  You can’t say you’ve been to Magic Mountain ‘til you’ve ridden it!

Hour 1:00- 1:45

Go right across the road to ride Viper. This isn’t the newest ride in the park, but if you ask me, any looping coaster that requires massive shoulder restraints can’t be missed. Viper’s seven inversions will not let you down!

The beginning of Viper

Hour 2:00-2:30

Continue right, pass through the Food Court and the arcade games until you reach Goldrusher.  This is one of the older rides, but it’s very understated.  While it doesn’t flip you upside down, it at least has unexpected drops and turns.  Hey, it's a 35 yeah old ride, give it a break **insert crude joke here**

Hour 2:45-4:00

Continue right to circle the park in a clockwise direction.  One of the rides that is pretty awesome but has less than a 30 min wait is Batman

Hour 4:00-4:30

Try out the Wii Experience. Unless you already have a Wii, then this is boring.  In this case, spend some time getting lost in Cyclone Bay.  Sample some fudge at the Coaster Candy Company. Shoot a few rounds at Sharkey’s Shooting Gallery.  Win an oversized Loony Tune.  You get the drift.

Hour 5:00

Eat. You can stop off at one of the popular food chains like Panda Express, Papa John’s, or Johnny Rockets, or you can have a sit down meal at the Mooseburger Lodge now that you’re in High Sierra Territory, near the parks entrance.

Hour 6:00

Head just one land back to Colossus County Fair and ride Colossus. This is a humungous wooden coaster with more than a satisfying amount of steep drops. Old-school. In a good way.
