Alfonso Ribeiro, best known to millions as Carlton Banks on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” received an early career boost from Michael Jackson.

For a while, Michael was the celebrity spokesman for Pepsi, shooting several high-quality videos to promote the soft drink.

He chose Alfonso for one of the most memorable videos, in which he and Michael moonwalk and run into each other while dancing.

Alfonso went on to portray Alfonso Spears in the late 1980s TV series “Silver Spoons” before signing on to portray Will Smith’s cousin Carlton in “Fresh Prince.”

From there, he went on to star in the series “In the House” and directed several episodes of “All of Us.”
