The more she insists she is dedicating her life to country music, the more time Julianne Hough appears to find something else to do.
But, that's alright because Julianne is the perfect choice to play opposite Chace Crawford in the remake of the 1980s dance classic "Footloose" that made a star of Kevin Bacon.
Many of the key people involved behind the scenes in the original movie are also part of the remake, so it should have the flavor of the first - not an intellectual masterpiece, but a lot of fun.
What's good news for Julianne is bad news for a slew of starlets who vied for the role, reportedly including Miley Cyrus, Hayden Panettiere and Amanda Bynes.
Tentative date for release of the movie is June 18, 2010.
