Christmas shopping began today in London with Dannii Minogue making it official by turning on the Christmas lights at Harrods.
Christmas season ordinarily formally gets under way about a month later in the United States because of the Thanksgiving holiday, an American tradition.
Dannii is best known as a younger sister of Kylie Monogue and as a judge on British TV’s music reality shows The X Factor and The Xtra Factor, and Australia’s Got Talent.
American Idol’s Simon Cowell and America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osborne sat with her as they judged talent on the British programs.
