Mirage Glass Lagoon Collection:Everglade

Mosaics by definition are generally tiles smaller than 4" and can be as small as 5/8", on a mesh sheet, and vary in size, color, and material they are made of.  They can be made of from glass, stone, metal, tile or various other materials.  Because of all of these differing characteristics mosaics allow the option to add creativity, texture, or a splash of color to any project.

One way to use mosaics is to take a sheet (like shown on right) and cut them into linear sheets these can be used as listellos (decorative borders) in a shower or around a tub.  This can provide a cost effective way to add a decorative beacuse indivdual listellos can be pricey while allowing the homeowner to often incorporate more than one color.  Another way to use mosaics is to cut them into 4" x 4", 3" x 3" or even 2 "x 2"  squares or use the indivdual tiles to make decorative dots or inserts.  Mosaics are used often for shower floors or curved surfaces because they are on flexible mesh sheets.

Mosaics grant the chance to add an unusual color, texture, or material  to any backsplash, floor, bathroom, or other project while fitting into places full size tile won't .
