Drake LaBry and Adam Lambert

Cue the confetti! Sound the trumpets! Adam Lambert has come out of the closet… Sort of.

Since the American Idol runner-up rose to fame on the show, he’s neither confirmed nor denied rumors of his sexuality. This week, many sources reported that Lambert would officially come out as a gay man on the next cover of Rolling Stone magazine, but after being spotted (and photographed) hand-in-hand with another man Tuesday night, it’s safe to say ‘Glambert’ has pre-empted the magazine cover and officially stepped out of the closet.

The lucky man holding Adam’s hand is the singer’s rumored boyfriend Drake LaBry, a 24-year-old interior designer. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Drake and Adam together—he’s previously been spotted both in the American Idol audience with Adam’s family and backstage with the star.

We’d still love to see Adam on the cover of Rolling Stone (we’re a little obsessed), but we’re so glad to see he’s living his life and staying true to who he is.

Good for you, Adam!
