Nas...alone.

We did not see this one coming!  According to noted celebrity gossip blog, Oh No They Didn't, Nas and Kelis are calling it quits.

The rapper and the singer who rose to fame with her hit song, "Milkshake," met at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2002 and were married in 2003.  

Rumors of an impending split have been swirling for about a year now, but this news definitely comes as a shock in light of their very recent announcement that the couple is expecting their first child together--a son.  

While a representative for Nas could not be reached, a spokesperson for Kelis released a statement to Vibe magazine which said, "I can confirm that she has filed for divorce.  We request the media to respect her privacy during this very difficult time."

According to ONTD, attorney to the stars Laura Wasser filed a divorce petition on behalf of Kelis today, citing irreconcilable differences.

Another one bites the dust...
