So, who will it be? John McCain, Barack Obama or does Hillary Clinton still have a chance at the presidency?
Astrologers say it depends on the alignment of the planets. At the United Astrology Conference in Denver, celestial bodies play politics. Shelley Ackerman has been following the charts of the leading candidates.
"Obama animates and activates the dream and soul of this country again," said Ackerman. "McCain's moon is in Capricorn and the moon in Capricorn is also a fighter."
But Ackerman says she cannot leave Clinton out of the fight for the White House.
"Hillary being a scorpio, you can never count her out," said Ackerman.
Astrology in the White House is nothing new.
"In fact Washington, D.C. is filled with astrological symbolism, if you just bother to look," said Ackerman.
And more recently, former First Lady Nancy Reagan gained a lot of attention when she consulted with a personal astrologer.
Despite the science that the term astrology implies, it's a combination of myth and math. It generates as many opinions as there are astrologers, especially in politics.
"We actually figured out a way that we could deal with this without punching each other out at our conferences," said Philip Sedgwick, who specializes in new planetary developments in astrology.
Astrologers' predictions defy recent poll results and place Republican McCain ahead in the presidential race. But this could change in July.
"In the second week in July there's incredible stress to McCain's chart and to Obama's chart and both could go through something," said Ackerman.
"I'm not quite sure yet because several things need to happen."
But the explanation of what those "things" are remains in the stars.
