27 is New York’s new lucky number. Bringing home the 27th World Series title the New York Yankee’s have not only captivated our boyfriends but our fashion trends.

Walking through Manhattan this Friday was a sea of blue and white. Men, Women, and kids all sporting jersey’s baseball caps and big smiles.

Even the garment center was penetrated with diehard fans, at least the ones who showed up to work.

From Battery Park to City Hall the streets were decorated in Yankee regale. Yankee’s teammates and fans partied together on showed their pinstripe love and the city came alive in celebration.

“I made the Yankee hat more famous than a Yankee could” was declared by Jay-Z in his song “Empire State of Mind” also the theme song to the series.

Not the only track on our radio’s we are even bopping to DJ’s remix of popular songs with Yankee stats.

With the famous dressed down look starting our weekend early, sports bars are sure to be filled with happy New York Yankee fans.

Caps on tonight and be sure to toast our pin stripes.
