Breast cancer is the one of the leading types of cancer in women in the United States, and is second only to lung cancer as a cause of cancer death in women. Approximately 200,000 women are diagnosed with cancer annually with approximately 40 resulting annual deaths from the disease.
The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and individuals and businesses across the country do their part to spread awareness about the disease and partner with cancer research institutions to fight to the disease.
To this end, the folks at Stella & Dot have created a special Pink Boutique on their website to contribute to the fight against breast cancer. Stella & Dot will donate 20% of net sales of the jewelry in their Pink Boutique to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
With all items priced under $25, the Stella & Dot Pink Boutique (stelladot.com/boutiquemix) promises to be every recessionista’s fashion dream.
