Shhh...the Safe House is Milwaukee's most intriguing nightspot
Shhhh, if you’re on a clandestine mission in Milwaukee and things get a little hot under the collar, you better start looking for International Exports Ltd.
Tucked away on tiny Front Street in Downtown Milwaukee, this unassuming company will provide you a
Safe House to hide out in and enjoy a bevy of libations including Code Beer, Spy’s Demise and Under Cover Girl.
The Safe House is one of the most intriguing bars in this city that has no shortage of watering holes. Established in 1966 by David Baldwin (who still runs agents in the Safe House along with his wife Shauna), professional and amateur spies alike will find gadgets and gizmos around every turn in the bar. Be careful, things aren’t always what they seem…

Rooms in the Safe House are laid out by country. You can wander into areas for British, American and Soviet spies. Put your spy skills to the test trying to solve the world’s largest mechanical puzzle, and ladies, try and pass the Burt Reynolds temptation test. For the men, make sure to make a pit stop in the restroom.
Throughout the Safe House you can check out spy memorabilia, autographs of famous people who’ve visited the bar, including one of the former KGBs top agents, and use the CIA cover phone to easily establish your alibi. If you’re paying attention, you may even stumble upon a secret way out (a good spy always has an exit strategy).
If you're looking for a good time in Milwaukee, look no farther than the Safe House.
