Wow. Ever since writing this article leading Chris Brown fans to his Twitter.com account and talking about Brown's lack of a reaction on Twitter.com to Rihanna's 20/20 interviews, I see just how popular Chris Brown is on Twitter.

As of this writing, Brown's "Mechanical Dummy" Twitter account has over 118,000 followers and is verified -- so we know that's him.

On Chris Brown's MTV.com interviews on Friday, they showed the Twitter tweet when Chris linked to a YouTube.com video called "Changed Man" wherein pics of Chris and Rihanna took him back down memory lane:

Twenty-two hours ago, Brown linked to his new Facebook account -- so I became a fan, one of only 3,709 as of this writing -- which we know will grow tremendously.

Earlier, Chris Brown obviously posted this tweet dismissing some woman's claims that Chris Brown was trying to marry her that were posted on TMZ.com -- but he must've deleted that tweet because it's gone now:

I guess I'm melting into forgiveness land -- though I'm not ready to buy Chris Brown concert tickets like Sherri Shepherd -- I do understand folks needing another chance, like we all do:

Of course, watching Rihanna's tears and talk of her father breaking her mother's nose -- coupled with Chris Brown still kind of stunted MTV interview Friday -- make me say, "Yeah, easy to forgive when it's not your loved one who got beat."

But Rihanna seems to have moved away from the hate she said she felt after going back briefly to Chris Brown -- and she wishes him a great life and career.

So I just became a fan of Rihanna, too, on Facebook. With nearly 3 million fans, I'm assuming that's really her.

But where's Rihanna's verified Twitter.com account?
