It's game time, folks. And, after two presidential elections in which major shenanigans (Florida, southern Ohio) at the polls and on counting votes cost Al Gore and John Kerry the election, it is clear that the American people -- particularly Democrats -- are fired up.

The Get Out The Vote campaign has been monumental, if the 27 million ballots already cast in early voting is any indication. Pollsters are predicting mammouth turnout tomorrow. That means long lines and potential for more mischief.

So, thanks to the work of Bev Harris and her Renton-based Black Box Voting organization, so, too, will be the effort to monitor the vote.

Today, on the eve of the Nov. 4 election -- is it really here? -- we got an email from Bev Harris and Black Box Voting. They have prepared videos that are now posted on YouTube which are extremely instructive on how citizens can do their part to safeguard the voting process.

Here is Bev's email:

"Black Box Voting was asked by YouTube to prepare an easy to follow public education program for Protecting the Count on ELECTION NIGHT and the days that follow. We also collaborated with Videothevote.org and Election Defense Alliance. YouTube has created a Channel called Video Your Vote. The Black Box Voting Protect the Count series contains important information and several video clips never before made public."
