Will former Washington state Governor Gary Locke be part of the new Barack Obama ad
ministration? Will Gov. Chris Gregoire or Rep. Jay Inslee really get consideration for Secretary of the Interior?
Those names have been floated as potential servants in the new Presidential administration, whereas we've yet to hear much about Ron Sims, the King County exec who surely would have been on Hillary Clinton's list of potential Cabinet members.
With Obama's visit to the White House today, there was also a ballyhoed annoucement of the Obama adminstration's new website: Change.gov.
Pretty impressive and swift action on the part of our Change & Hope president, who plans on making use of the 10 million emails in his campaign directory to reach out the U.S. citizens and keep open the communication started more than two years ago that has culminated in the electi
on of the 47-year-old Senator from Illinois.
One thing of interest on the new Obama adminstration website: There is already a job application intake area, which allows anyone interested in working for Obama to send along basic information.
Seeing as how the U.S. jobless rate is over 10 percent, and how we've lost hundreds of thousands of jobs each reporting period, one might suspect that many Americans will be hitting that Change.gov website and applying for work with our new president.
Have at it!
