If somebody gets pulled over and the cops discover they are driving without a valid license, should they get a ticket AND lose their car on the spot, too? Right now, there is no law on the books that forces the cops to impound the car if a driver does not have a valid driver’s license, but that is exactly what some people want the Denver Police to start doing. Petitions have been circulating and a group says they have enough signatures to get this idea on the ballot in August. Opponents think "no license, no car" is too harsh and believe it will just create a mountain of paperwork for the cops. Supporters say the problem of unlicensed drivers is getting out of hand and causing all sorts of problems on our highways. What do you think? Should Denver be a "no license, no car" city?
