A gas war has broken out on Bridge Street in Brighton. When a competitor opened down the street, the Western convenience store lowered their gas prices. The new comer quickly dropped their gas prices, too. Brighton's Bridge Street gas war was on. This morning, gas at the Western was $3.22 for regular. That is close to 50 cents cheaper than the average price for gas here in Colorado, according to AAA. But, you have to time it just right.
When one of these stations runs out of gas, the other combatant quickly hikes their gas prices back up toward $3.70 and a truce is delared in the Bridge Street gas war in Brighton. |
