In the southeast part of town, the commute is not going to be an easy one today. The Cherry Creek Dam Road, a popular way to avoid the hassles of I-225, is undergoing some much needed repairs and is closed until sometime this evening. Those who are lucky enough to have a state parks pass can sneak through Cherry Creek State Park, instead of using the highway.
