That Dam Road is Still Closed
POSTED June 30, 5:25 AM
In the southeast part of town, the commute is not going to be an easy one today.

The Cherry Creek Dam Road, a popular way to avoid the hassles of I-225, is undergoing some much needed repairs and is closed until sometime this evening.

Barricades are posted at both ends, forcing motorists to use I-225 to drive between Aurora and the Tec Center. Those who are lucky enough to have a state parks pass can sneak through Cherry Creek State Park, instead of using the highway.
