RTD Wants To Hear From You

June 2, 7:59 AM
by John Morrissey, Denver Traffic Examiner

Does it cost too much to ride light rail?

Would you like a more convenient bus route?

Here is your chance to make your voice heard.

Starting tonight, RTD types will be holding public hearings across the metro area. They are going to make some changes to bus and light rail service and RTD wants to know what you think. I do not think they can do anything about the rude, cell phone guy or the lady who smothers you with her perfume, but you can go “thumbs up/thumbs down” on the proposed changes. You can also let them know what things you would like to see added. Personally, I’d vote for latte service on light rail in the morning.

Once they get your suggestions, staffers will put together a report for the RTD Board who will vote on the changes that start in August.

By the way, if you do not see your city listed, chances are your service will not be changing this time around.
