Tens of thousands of visitors will be arriving in the Mile High City this weekend for the start of the Democratic National Convention on Monday and they will be greeted with some fine Colorado weather. Overall the weather will be pretty typical for this time of year.
Saturday will see plenty of sun in the morning with a high temperature of 84. The afternoon and evening will bring a 10% chance of showers and thunderstorms but those shouldn't be too widespread.
Sunday will see a pretty similar situation to Saturday with a high of 85. There will be the ever present chance of thunderstorms, increasing to a 20% chance in the afternoon.
Everyone of course will be most interested in the weather during the week while the DNC is officially happening Monday through Thursday. Monday and Tuesday we should warm up to near 90 with the usual chance of thunderstorms. The middle of the week though bears watching as a cold front could bring cooler temps and a greater chance for thunderstorms. This will be something to keep an eye on as the Democratic nominee prepares to accept the nomination outside at Mile High Stadium on Thursday.
