The National Weather Service will be conducting storm spotter training at a few places around the metro area over the next couple of weeks. The Colorado All-Season Spotter Team (CAST) is a volunteer spotter network which provides real-time weather information year round to forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder, Colorado.
These are great sessions for anyone wanting to learn more about the severe weather we experience in Colorado. All training is free and the sesssion lasts two or thr. Topics include:

I attended a training session in Westminster last month and it was very interesting. Even if you don't want to be a spotter, you can learn a lot!
