Today will almost certainly mark day 13 in our streak of consecutive days of 90+ degrees. The good news though is that remnants of Hurrican Dolly could spin some much needed moisture our way. Scattered thunderstorms will begin to develop in the foothills then move over the urban corridor in the afternoon hours. These storms will be slow moving and will have the potential to dump some large amounts of moisture over parts of the metro area. As the storms move further northeast across the plains, they could cause some severe hail and lightning.
