Hawaii for only 30,000 miles

United Airlines is putting all award destinations on sale and Mileage Plus members can save 20 percent or more on coach travel within North America and between North America and the rest of the world.

Award travel at the discounted rates must be booked online between July 15 and July 24, 2009 for travel from Aug. 18 through Nov. 18, 2009. The award sale is not valid for tickets booked over the phone or at the airport.

Flights within North America are 20,000 miles compared to the regular price of 25,000 miles and if you want to fly to Hawaii, you'll only need 30,000 miles instead of the standard 40,000 miles. Award flights to Europe or South America from the U.S. have been reduced to 44,000 miles from 55,000 miles and a trip to Australia will only cost you 64,000 miles instead of 80,000 miles. Other destinations are also on sale.

The discounted flights are for roundtrip coach class awards on United or United Express flights only and stopovers or open jaws are not permitted.
