There's been a lot of talk online lately about the new leaked images from Paper magazine editorial of the new Rodart collection for Target. Some hate it, some love it, but most are a bit confused.

Back in August it was announced that Laura and Kate Mulleavy of Rodarte would launch a collection for Target's Go International. The collection will consist of 55 pieces and will range from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket.

A Target respresentative stated that the collection is “very feminine, yet very modern and incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications, everything from sequins and bows to faux fur”.

From the below images, this collection does have a sense of modern style with a rich blend of fabrications. Maybe the styling is a bit forward and throwing everyone off, but the pieces separately seem very sellable. This collection will most likely be the most fashion forward line Target has launched for Go International. Tell me your thoughts...

Mark those calendars, the limited edition collection will launch at Target stores nationwide and on target.com on December 20, 2009, and will be available through February 6, 2009.
