© Bahá’í International CommunityTo be a Baha'i is to be a follower of Baha'u'llah, whom we believe to be the Promised One, foretold in the religious scriptures of the past. Baha'is believe that Baha'u'llah was the most recent messenger from God, whose teachings were revealed for the spiritual and social development of humanity at this particular moment in history. The celebration of His birth - beginning the evening of Nov. 11 through the day of Nov. 12 - constitutes one of nine holy days, during which work and schooling are suspended and appropriate gatherings are held.

The following two gatherings will take place in the Baltimore area and are open to the public:

Baltimore City
Wednesday, November 11th, 7 pm
Waldorf School of Baltimore
4801 Tamarind Rd., Baltimore, MD 21209

Owings Mills (Baltimore County West community)
Gathering will start with prayers, followed by a delicious Persian dinner.
Wednesday, November 11, 7 pm
33 Hidden Creek Court, Owings Mills MD, 21117
410-654-3848
