
Lawrence Taylor was arrested over the weekend and released on bond following a traffic accident in Miami. According to Miami-Dade County jail records, Taylor was charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage, a second-degree misdemeanor.
The former New York Giants linebacker was released on $500 bond later that night.
According to TMZ, authorities say that Taylor was not under the influence at the time of the accident. No sobriety test was performed, and no injuries were suffered in the auto-accident.
Lawrence Taylor was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1999 and is widely regarded as one of the best NFL linebackers of all-time.
