Last night, at the Jimmy Choo Boutique at Bal Harbour, Project PEP was launched amidst great fanfare (slideshow and video below).  This collection was done in partnership with the Elton John Aids Foundation asnd 25 percent of the net sales will directly support the Simelela Rape Center in Capetown, South Africa.

This may just be the most popular collection yet.  It's vibrant, fun, sophisticated, and funky.  It's full of iconic images like British flag and the eagle.  Project PEP is a full collection that includes shoes, handbags, and accessories.  Pricing starts at about $100.

The Simelela Rape Centre was set up in 2005 with a mission to administer victims of abuse with the vital HIV preventative PEP medication and provide the infrastructure for medical, counseling and legal support.  The proceeds raised by Project PEP will enable the clinic to stay open day and night, providing 24/7 access to the vital, life saving treatment that has to be administered within the first 72 hours of exposure to HIV.
