November 24, 2009 -- 'Dancing with the Stars' is set to reveal a winner in just hours and the fans are more than ready to crown a winner. Hoping to get a glimpse of the show, the live studio audience members are lined up against the fence on Beverly Street outside the CBS studios eagerly waiting to use their tickets.
The celebrity contestants are arriving to dance.
Bringing in the contestants, the cars started showing up around nine this morning with the dancing celebrities and their professional ballroom partners. Security waved each of their cars through so the last three can get to the stage and get ready for the big show.
Dancing with the Stars fans outside hold signs of support. One sign, held by a fan who wanted Osbourne to win said,'Go Kelly!' Seen in the crowd, signs for Osmond and Mya too. Even without tickets, more than 40 people are gathered at the gate, screeching every time a possible car connected with Dancing with the Stars drives in the gate.
Jacob and Shirley DeVito stand at the gate waving their signs of support at the CBS Television City as every limo passes through. Excited about seeing a glimpse of the celebrities competing tonight, they say they saw Kelly Osbourne only hours ago. As for not getting tickets, they are bummed but understand
‘We love the show and live in Torrance. Coming up here with our signs just gives us a chance to be part of this event, “ says Shirley.”We didn’t expect to get in but we didn’t expect stars to stop either. So there is always hoping!”
Security is present to make sure all the fans stay on the right side of the gate. This is an excited yet peaceful crowd, there to give support to the show.
Dancing with the Stars will crown a winner to the Ballroom Dancing reality show tonight live on ABC. Soon, the glitter ball trophy will belong to yet one more celebrity ballroom dancer.
