There is never enough available USB ports. Why do they make computers have so few? Three or four is not going to cut it for me and I know there are some of you out there who feel the same way. Then there's daisy chaining but sometimes there's no choice. Considering they've come out with a faster USB connection called 3.0 instead of the regular 2.0, you're going to be updating connectors, gadgets and replacing the "old fashioned" 2.0.
Now, I've seen USB hubs that come in all shapes, sizes, designs and colors. And one of the most important features I look at is how much space do they have between each USB connector because sometimes they don't fit being next to each other and you just have to skip some precious USB ports. And what I like about this USB hub is that it encourages more creativity and design in the kind of USB hubs that are created and sold. That's a plus for us.
Sanwa has come out with a 12 port hub that you're either going to love or hate and nothing in between. It is completely circular in design and like a high tech centerpiece the wires will be going here and there attracting me even more. It will be easier to keep them separate and not in a tangled mess. Sanwa 400-HUB009 12-port USB hub is available from Sanwa for the cost of US$55.
