How to keep your New Year's Resolution to get organized

I'm big on making lists.  Before I go on a trip, I start a list of "things to pack" - a week or two in advance - and just keep adding to it as I think of things I need to take.  That way, when it comes time to pack, I can just follow the list and throw everything in the suitcase (or Van) and know that I haven't forgotten anything.

But how do you coordinate with multiple people at the same time?

Let's say you're planning your New Year's party and you want to be sure that somebody brings the Punch, somebody else brings the ice, and a bunch of people bring the Silly String for the traditional midnight Silly String fight (you DO have a traditional Silly String fight, don't you)?  How do you easily coordinate everybody without a bunch of back-and-forth phone calls?

Or let's say you want to start the New Year off right by hitting the golf course at 12:01AM on New Year's Day?  How do you get a foursome together who share your passion?

Or you decide to start the New Year by coordinating a group of people to bring dinner to someone who is recovering from surgery - or who has lost someone.

Or you need to be sure that someone is covering the 2AM Prayer vigil for your entire event.

The answer, as it turns out, is the same for all of the above.  I found a website which lets you create your own web-based "Sign Up Sheets" - like when you circulate one at work - but this one can't get lost on the desk of the guy who is messy and forgets to pass it on.  And this one can be checked by anybody, at any time - from the internet.

Just click into "MySignUp.com" MySignUp logoand create your customized sign-up sheet, then point your friends there to sign up - for whatever your event is, and then you can relax and have time to make that amazing jalapeno-jelly and cream-cheese dip that always impresses everybody so much and gets them off-guard so you can *pummel* them with Silly String just as you yell "Happy New Year!!!!"
